Research Methodology & Scientific Writing
Good research depends on clear questions, sound methods and clear writing. This course teaches the research process end to end, with practical writing workshops on your own project.
Course overview
Research Methodology & Scientific Writing covers literature searching and reviewing, formulating research questions and hypotheses, choosing study designs, research ethics and integrity, and data management.
The writing half works through the structure of a research paper section by section, figures and tables, referencing with free tools, choosing journals responsibly (and recognising predatory ones), responding to peer review and writing theses and proposals.
