Multi-Omics Data Integration

When a study measures several molecular layers, the value lies in analysing them together. We harmonise your datasets, choose an integration method that suits the design, and validate what the integrated model claims.

Expression heatmap of differentially expressed genes (row z-scores) across control and treated samples.

Who it is for

  • Translational cohorts with matched omics layers
  • Biotech teams building multi-omics biomarkers
  • Researchers combining their data with public resources

What you send us

  • Processed omics matricesCounts, intensities or methylation values per sample.
  • Sample metadataConditions, batches, clinical variables and pairing.

What you receive

  • Report with methods, results and interpretation
  • Factor and signature tables
  • Figures in vector formats
  • Reproducible code and environment

Methodology

How the work runs

Each step is agreed with you and documented. Typical tools: MOFA+ · mixOmics · limma · Reactome and GO · Cytoscape

  1. Design reviewMatched samples, batch structure and the questions integration can answer.
  2. HarmonisationPer-layer normalisation, filtering, missing-value handling and batch assessment.
  3. IntegrationUnsupervised factor models (MOFA+) and, where there is an outcome, supervised signatures (DIABLO).
  4. Validation and interpretationHeld-out validation, pathway and network interpretation, written summary and results call.

Quality controls

Checks applied to every project

  • Per-layer QC and batch assessment before integration
  • Variance explained per layer and factor reported
  • Signature stability across resampling
  • Held-out or external validation where data allow

Scope and limits

What the work can and cannot show

  • Integration needs enough matched samples per group; the design review states whether yours does.
  • Research use only: results are not a clinical or diagnostic report.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the data type, the number of samples and the depth of interpretation you need. Every project receives a written quote with scope, deliverables, price and delivery date after a short exchange about your data and questions. The quote is free and carries no obligation.

Data are used only for your project, transferred through a channel you approve and deleted at the end of the engagement on request. We will sign your institution’s confidentiality agreement before any data are shared.

Yes. You receive a methods section with software versions and parameters, and every figure can be regenerated from the delivered code. Authorship or acknowledgement follows your field’s norms and is agreed at the start.
